Miss Ladybug is a unique and original doll that was designed and created by me, made with the technique of paper mache on wire structure.
In this beautiful doll I used several types of paper:
The head, body, legs and arms are made of recycled newspaper, with which I created the papier-mâché.
The hands and shoes were molded with mulberry paper.
The dress was made with paper mache and tissue paper.
The wings are made of tissue paper on wire structure.
It was created and painted entirely by hand with acrylic paints and finished with a layer of varnish.
The hair is made of high quality acrylic yarn.
Size approximately: 32.00 cm (12.60 inches)
Miss Ladybug, or Miss Ladybug, is part of a mini series of big-headed dolls inspired by three of my favorite insects / bugs.
This incredible collection doll is inspired by the ladybug, or little bug, as it is called in many places.
She wears a pompous skirt and a black blouse and on top of it an open red dress with black polka dots; they refer to the body and the elytra (hard wings).
The wings on its back have the shape of the real wings of the ladybug.
In the head it has two short black antennas.
The ladybug is an insect that is associated, in most cultures, with good luck and fortune, bearer of good news, changes and transformations, success, love, health ... among others. Apparently it does not have any negative aspect.
